My first list was only about a dozen locations that were serving meals. I passed on copies to some folks, and immediately, they told me of other locations serving meals, proving clothes, groceries, help getting food stamps, healthcare, as well as help for military, veterans and seniors. After searching for more resources I eventually developed a resource list that is now 4 pages for Columbia, SC, as well as 2 pages for Lexington, SC areas. I now provide informational services for about 40 churches, 20 community organizations, including The United Way, Social Workers at Richland Public Library, and many more public/state entities. |
